Our General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all transactions conducted during in-person meetings, client appointments, and any orders placed outside of our website. 1. INFORMATION AND CONTACT
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all transactions carried out with Dodeca Minerals, whether during a face-to-face meeting, a client appointment, or any order placed via the website. They define the rights and obligations of the parties, guaranteeing transparency in the business relationship.
The General Terms and Conditions are provided to the customer in paper format during a meeting or sent by email upon request. The customer is encouraged to contact Dodeca Minerals with any questions or for clarification before placing any order.
Sales are limited to Switzerland, Europe, and the rest of the world. The Buyer declares that they are of legal age in their country of residence and have full legal capacity to place an order. Dodeca Minerals reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time; any new version will apply to orders placed after its publication.
2 - ACCESS TO THE SITE
The Buyer is responsible for setting up and maintaining the computer and telecommunications equipment necessary to access the website, as well as for all associated internet access costs. Dodeca Minerals is not liable for any interruption or inability to access the website for reasons beyond its control.
3 - PRICES
The prices of products offered by Dodeca Minerals are indicated in Swiss francs (CHF) and correspond to the rates in effect at the time of the order. They include applicable VAT but exclude delivery charges, which will be specified before order confirmation.
Dodeca Minerals reserves the right to modify prices, product ranges, and promotions at any time without prior notice. Offers and prices indicated on the website or in any promotional material are valid while stocks last and subject to availability from its suppliers.
Any change in the VAT rate, customs duties or other applicable legal taxes will automatically be passed on to the final price at the Buyer's expense.
For products shipped internationally, any customs fees and local taxes are excluded from the prices shown and remain the responsibility of the customer.
Dodeca Minerals may offer discounts or special conditions for certain customer categories, group orders, or recurring purchases, according to the terms and conditions specified at the time of the offer. These special conditions are valid only if confirmed in writing or by email by Dodeca Minerals.
Full or partial payment of an order constitutes acceptance of the rates and conditions in effect at the time of the order.
4 - order
All orders imply full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Buyer must provide complete and accurate information: name, surname, postal address, delivery address and email address.
By confirming their order, the Buyer acknowledges having read the Terms and Conditions, prices, quantities, and product specifications. They may cancel their order within one hour of confirmation.
Dodeca Minerals confirms each order by email. The sale becomes final after confirmation and full payment. The Buyer is advised to keep a copy of the confirmation, either printed or electronically.
Any fraudulent order or order suspected of fraud will be immediately cancelled and considered null and void. For products in stock, payment can be made upon collection.
5 - payment
Payment for products offered by Dodeca Minerals can be made by credit card, Twint, bank transfer, or any other method indicated on the website or communicated by Dodeca Minerals in writing or upon delivery. The order will only be considered accepted after full payment has been received.
For products in stock, payment can be made upon hand delivery, only upon presentation of the product and subject to its inspection by the Buyer.
For all orders made at the customer's specific request (custom-made, personalized products, or products prepared exclusively for the customer), full payment is required before the product is prepared or shipped. These orders cannot be canceled or refunded after payment, except in the case of a defect or non-conformity noted upon delivery or hand collection.
In the event of refusal or non-payment, Dodeca Minerals reserves the right to cancel the order, suspend delivery, and take legal action to recover the amount due.
All transactions are secure, and Dodeca Minerals accepts no liability for errors in the transmission or use of banking information provided by the Buyer. It is the Buyer's responsibility to verify the accuracy of payment information and to immediately report any problems or suspected fraud.
6. Product Selection
6.1 Preliminary product information
In accordance with the law, the Buyer must, before placing any order, review the essential characteristics of the product(s) they wish to purchase. This information is available on the Dodeca Minerals website and includes, in particular: components, dimensions, weight, and any specific product features.
Dodeca Minerals is committed to providing detailed and accurate descriptions for each product to enable the Buyer to make an informed decision. However, the graphic or photographic representation of a product cannot be considered a contractual obligation on the part of the seller and does not affect the validity of the sale, particularly in the event of modifications made by the supplier.
6.2 Product Selection
The Buyer selects one or more products from the various categories offered on the website or during in-person appointments. This selection is made under their sole responsibility, and the Buyer must verify the potential compatibility of the products with those they already own, possibly by consulting an expert or qualified advisor.
The offers presented are valid while stocks last. For products not stocked in Dodeca Minerals warehouses, actual availability will depend on supply from partners or suppliers.
6.3 Change in product range
Dodeca Minerals reserves the right to modify its product range for logistical, supply, or supplier-related reasons. These modifications do not constitute a breach of contract by the seller and do not affect orders validated and confirmed by Dodeca Minerals.
6.4 Customized and made-to-measure products
For any custom-made or personalized product (engraving, specific assembly, custom-cut stone), the Buyer is informed that preparation and delivery will only take place after full payment. These products are subject to the strict conditions of the return and refund policy, and no modifications or cancellations will be accepted after order confirmation and payment, except in the case of a proven defect or non-conformity observed upon delivery or hand delivery.
7. Delivery and reception
7.1 Delivery methods and times

For products specially ordered and prepaid, hand delivery takes place in Montreux by prior arrangement. The customer conducts a thorough inspection of the product to verify its conformity to the order and its condition. They then sign a delivery note, releasing Dodeca Minerals from any further liability. In the event of a defect or non-conformity, the customer must report it immediately to initiate the replacement or refund procedures in accordance with the return policy.

General conditions regarding delivery times: In the event of a delay beyond Dodeca Minerals' control, particularly due to strikes, force majeure, or disruptions to transport or postal services, the delivery time may be extended. The customer will be informed as soon as possible. The Buyer is required to provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Any error or omission resulting in a delay or additional cost will be borne by the customer.
7.2 Absence
If the Buyer or the recipient of the ordered product is absent at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave a delivery notice specifying how to arrange a new delivery appointment. The Buyer is required to contact the carrier within the indicated timeframe to schedule a new delivery.
If there is no response or if it is impossible to reschedule delivery within the timeframe set by the carrier, the package may be returned to Dodeca Minerals. In this case, the Buyer may be required to bear the additional costs associated with the return or temporary storage of the package.
Dodeca Minerals cannot be held responsible for any delays or costs resulting from the absence of the recipient or failure to comply with delivery rescheduling instructions.
7.3 Package Verification
Upon receipt of the goods, the Buyer or the recipient is required to immediately check the condition of the package and the number of packages delivered in the presence of the delivery person. This check must include inspection of the outer packaging to detect any signs of damage, crushing, opening, or possible alteration.
In case of doubt or if visible damage is observed, the Buyer must refuse delivery and immediately notify Dodeca Minerals of the problem. Any remarks must be recorded on the delivery note provided by the carrier and, if possible, accompanied by photographs of the package.
If the package is accepted despite apparent damage without immediate notification, Dodeca Minerals cannot be held responsible for any subsequent consequences. The Buyer is therefore strongly advised to report any anomaly upon receipt in order to initiate, where applicable, the replacement or refund procedures outlined in the return and refund policy.
7.4 Damage to the package due to the carrier
Dodeca Minerals cannot be held responsible for damage to a package after it has been handed over to the carrier (La Poste, FedEx or any other delivery service) except in the case of proven fault on the part of the seller during the preparation or packaging of the product.
The Buyer is required to check the condition of the package in the presence of the delivery person upon delivery. If any damage is found, the Buyer must refuse the package or accept it with reservations, noting the damage on the delivery slip and immediately informing Dodeca Minerals in writing with photos and a detailed description of the damage.
For insured and tracked shipments, Dodeca Minerals will assist the customer with the claims process with the carrier to ensure the insurance covers the product's value. If the damage is confirmed to be attributable to the carrier, the product will be replaced or refunded in accordance with the terms of the return and refund policy.
In the event of minor damages observed after receipt, the Buyer must notify Dodeca Minerals within 48 hours, accompanied by photographic evidence, in order to initiate the procedures provided for by the return and refund policy.
7.5 Theft and loss of packages
Dodeca Minerals is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been handed over to the carrier or postal service. For all tracked and insured shipments, including all shipments requiring a signature upon delivery, online tracking allows the Buyer to verify the delivery status.
If the tracking indicates that the package has not been delivered, the Buyer must contact the carrier directly to initiate the refund or claim process.
If the tracking indicates that the package has been delivered , Dodeca Minerals and the carrier cannot be held responsible. In this case, the Buyer must report the theft to the appropriate authorities (police) and take the necessary steps with their insurance company to obtain a refund or compensation.
This procedure ensures that responsibilities are clearly established between the carrier, Dodeca Minerals and the Buyer, and that any claim is handled in accordance with the law and the terms of sale.
7.6 Customs duties and import formalities
All customs formalities, as well as any applicable import taxes, duties, and fees in the destination country, are the sole responsibility of the Buyer . Dodeca Minerals cannot be held liable for any delays related to customs procedures, nor for the refusal of entry of goods into the destination country.
The Buyer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with applicable customs regulations and providing, where necessary, all information and documents required for delivery. Failure to comply with local regulations may result in the package being detained, returned, or destroyed by the competent authorities, without recourse against Dodeca Minerals.
This provision ensures that the Buyer assumes all legal obligations related to the import and clarifies Dodeca Minerals' responsibilities in the context of international deliveries.
8. Return and Refund Policy
8.1 Returns accepted
Only products with a proven defect or that do not conform to the order may be returned. In the event of an incorrect delivery, Dodeca Minerals will send the correct product at its own expense. Returns for aesthetic or natural reasons (inclusions, cracks, or marks on the stones and crystals) are not accepted.
8.2 Return period and procedures
Any claim must be reported in writing within 48 hours of receiving the goods, accompanied by photos and a detailed description of the problem.
Returned products must be:

The customer is responsible for all costs and risks associated with the return, except in cases of error or proven negligence on the part of Dodeca Minerals. Returns must be made via a secure, tracked, and insured shipping method, covering the full value of the item.
8.3 Refunds and exchanges
After receiving and inspecting the returned product, Dodeca Minerals offers:
An exchange for an identical or equivalent product, or

8.4 Items excluded from refund
The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:
Customized products (engraving, custom assembly)
Stones cut or modified upon request
Items whose certificate or packaging has been lost
Products that have been used, assembled, tested, or show signs of wear
8.5 Product Characteristics
The products sold by Dodeca Minerals, including minerals, crystals, and gemstones, possess unique natural characteristics . This includes, but is not limited to, cracks, inclusions, color variations, cavities, or other intrinsic markings specific to each stone. These characteristics are normal and do not constitute a defect , and cannot be used as grounds for return or refund.
Each product comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by a certified gemologist (for crystals, minerals, and cut stones) or a recognized laboratory (for cut gemstones), guaranteeing the product's authenticity, origin, and specific characteristics. The buyer is advised that natural variation between stones is normal and part of their value.
It is the Buyer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with these specific characteristics before ordering and to ask all necessary questions to ensure that the product meets their expectations. Dodeca Minerals cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from the natural characteristics of the products, which have been clearly described.
9. Retention of Title
Dodeca Minerals retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the price, including all taxes, delivery charges and any other charges.
The Buyer acquires only a right of use for the products upon delivery, but becomes full owner only after full payment of the order. In the event of total or partial non-payment, Dodeca Minerals reserves the right to repossess the products , including from a third party, without prejudice to any other legal action to recover the outstanding balance.
This retention of title applies to all delivery methods, including hand delivery, postal shipments and deliveries by carrier, and remains valid until full payment has been received.
The Buyer undertakes to keep the products in good condition and to immediately inform Dodeca Minerals of any seizure, deterioration or loss, in order to allow the protection of the seller's property rights.
10. Responsibility
Dodeca Minerals cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract in the event of:
Out of stock or product unavailable,
Force majeure, disruptions or total or partial strikes, particularly of postal services, means of transport or communication.

The Dodeca Minerals website may contain information from third parties or links to other websites. Dodeca Minerals is not liable for any damages resulting from access to, use of, or inability to use this third-party information, nor for the content of linked websites.
11. Warranty
At Dodeca Minerals, we are committed to providing minerals and gemstones of the highest quality.
These provisions do not in any way deprive the consumer of the legal guarantee provided by the Swiss Code of Obligations, which requires the professional seller to guarantee the buyer against hidden defects in the products sold.
The consumer is informed that Dodeca Minerals is not the manufacturer of the products offered and cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from defective products.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, no other warranty applies to items sold on our website. Each mineral, crystal, or cut stone is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by a certified Swiss gemologist, detailing the product's specific characteristics. This guarantees customers that they will receive authentic items that conform to their description.
For any questions or further information, our customer service is at your disposal.
12. Partial invalidity
If one or more clauses of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) are deemed null, illegal, inapplicable or unenforceable by a competent jurisdiction, this does not affect the validity, legality or applicability of the other clauses.
The remaining provisions shall continue to have full effect and remain fully applicable. The parties undertake, to the extent possible, to replace any clause deemed invalid with a valid provision that best reflects the original economic intent of the replaced clause.
13. Non-waiver
The failure of either party to invoke a breach or to exercise a right provided for in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any given time shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or any other right for the future.
No tolerance, delay or omission in the application of these Terms and Conditions shall be considered as a waiver of the rights of Dodeca Minerals or the Buyer, nor as a precedent binding the parties for subsequent transactions.
14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Sales concluded with Dodeca Minerals are governed by Swiss law.
Any dispute relating to the interpretation, execution or validity of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as any dispute arising from the commercial relationship between the Buyer and Dodeca Minerals, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Vevey (Switzerland), subject to any overriding mandatory legal provisions.
This provision also applies to disputes concerning warranties, returns, refunds and all other contractual obligations stipulated in the General Terms and Conditions.
